Consumers Energy has a big job to supply Michigan residents with power. Their initiative to create a better Michigan for it’s residents lead them to create programs “Time of Use Rate”, that ultimately by each resident doing their part we can make a better Michigan. Consumers Energy came to us to create a long format motion graphics piece to help explain what the program was all about. Previous to this project we did a brand refresh with a new approach and feeling for Consumers Energy. They want to have more of a connection with the people of Michigan, we used this idea to create an explanation video that would make the viewers feel that Consumers Energy is approachable and neighborly. The animation had to feel part of the Consumers Energy brand, using brand elements that we created and sticking to the brand promise and approach we accomplished just that. With a 70% play to completion rate they were very happy with the outcome.
